From Wayne & Arlene Truex:
We remember our first competitive race...We sailed the whole race and were in the
lead at the end, but we lost because we couldn't figure out where the finish line was :-[.
Hopefully we have corrected that problem now :-].
My first race was crewing for Dick Pitman. I learned that in sailing there is no such thing as a "rope", that many races are won at the start, and that sailing is a contact sport. I also learned a lot of good jokes!
